Shenandal has been my Kennel name, registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, since 1972, when I bought my first Dalmatian "Ch. Hobby Horse Happy-Go-Lucky". However, there is no kennel. All my Dals are our family pets, they live and raise their Dalmatian puppies in our home and are dearly loved. I have shown my Dalmatians successfully in Conformation, Obedience and Rally.

"Lucky"'s daughter "Candy" and later "Holly" were not shown, as I raised a family and competed with my horses in Hunter and Dressage.

I returned to the dog show world in 1998 when I purchased my Dalmatian "Cally" of Alfredrich lines. She was to become "OTCh & Ch.Caribelle's Calendar Girl CGN" and the foundation bitch of my present Dalmatians, and who you can see under "Gone But Not Forgotten". I do not breed often, preferring quality to quantity. Each breeding is carefully researched and planned to produce Dalmatian pups with friendly, outgoing temperaments, sound bodies, pretty heads (full of intelligence) and hopefully lovely markings. The Dalmatian Breed Standard is always kept in mind. Pups are BAER tested, Vet Checked, CKC Registered & micro-chipped. Health checks are done on my Dalmatians before breeding.

The home of Shenandal Dalmatians is located approximately 1.5 hours east of Ottawa by #417 or 45 minutes east of Cornwall by #401 or 1 hour west of Montreal.
